Hi, I'm
Vince King has more than 20 years of experience working on software development projects, both large and small. He is a reformed developer, SDLC advocate, and secure coding trainer. He has worked at the Bank of England for over a decade and led initiatives on Agile working practices, secure development, DevOps, and awareness programmes. Vince now leads the effort for Secure Cloud Transformation with the Bank's Cyber Security Division.
Vince has practical expertise in strategic leadership across multiple cybersecurity disciplines, including, incident response, risk management, vulnerability management, and Cloud transformation. He is a CISSP, CISM, and CITP, and as a Fellow of the British Computer Society, is passionate about mentoring others to achieve recognition for their work.
With his 20+ years of experience, Vince has developed, run, and presented courses on the OWASP Top 10, Secure Development methods, and DevSecOps Foundations and Best Practices. He is also a regular speaker at conferences in the UK and internationally focusing on Cloud Security, GRC, and DevSecOps.
